Jack E. Leonard Greets Opponents At Frontier

"Greetings, opponents!" This familiar line addressed to thousands of people in nightclub audiences across the land heralds the arrival of Jack E. Leonard, chief nominee of the Comic Party who opens tonight in the Post Time Theatre of the Frontier Hotel. A Frontier "regular," Leonard will be here for four weeks to delight fun seekers.

A mere shadow of his former self, Jack is no longer the rotund gent of previous years, but is every bit as funny, if not more so. "I happened to go to a doctor who didn't like fat men," he says, "and he put me on a diet and told me to lose two and a half people." Down to a svelte 208 lbs., Jack told his doctor, "You're melting me right out of show business."

There are few night clubs or major television shows worthy of mention which have not featured Jack E. Leonard, and he boasts of more than 200 TV shows. America, England, Ireland and Scotland have been exposed to his particular brand of humor with huge success. Frontier producer Frank Sennes has made sure that this powerful draw continues as a Frontier favorite, and the arrangement is mutually delightful since Leonard considers the beautiful 400 seat Post Time Theatre, which he fills regularly, as one of his favorite showrooms.

Appearing opposite Jack E. Leonard will be the colorful Arirang Korean Dancers, and Lovelace Watkins. Attendees at Leonard's performances should content themselves to listening and laughing. One heckler was squelched with the line, "Let's play horse — I'll be the front end and you just be yourself."
